to be fair to ps auxc it works on Linux for years, I've yet to find a
distrib it didn't work on, I first found out about it back in 96 or so I'd
say...
it even works with /usr/ucb/ps on Solaris :-) and all the xBSD variants..
so it's a standard ps option as opposed to a GNew one :-)
