I don't think that's what they were getting at. I think what was
happening
here is that there getting the opinions of big tech on how important
broadband is
to the development of Eire and technology in general and how to move
forward without
bringing the squabbling likes of eircom etc. into the fray.
I've heard that this is getting the govt's full support so you'd never
know....

That's insane! In what way is any Microsoft employee qualified to
supervise anything related to the Internet?
