I've no experience with PowerBooks, but I do have an Iris Indigo
which I play with on occasion. It's an interesting artefact more than
anything else. Nice to play with in moments of boredom, but the IRIX
OS is little more than a pain in the ass and a solid reminder why I
stopped using proprietary operating systems. I also have an SGI 
Indy, which is only slightly more useful. One of these days I might
get around to sticking NetBSD in it, or I might not. For the amount
of dust they collect, I could stick wheels on them and throw the 
vacuum cleaner away...
