But you can - chsh /usr/bin/emacs and you need never leave the womb :-)

Real emacs fans apparently actually do this, esp. if logging in on a
terminal. chsh /usr/bin/xemacs means never having to start an editor again :-)

client, news reader and shell session - how DO you live ?
