On a no-waiting front!
I have a Cyber-Home ADL-528 from Richer Sounds. Good picture, plays CD's
full of MP3's, only problem might be the drive noise, but it seems OK,
and there is a firmware upgrade for the drive that allows it to
recognise DVD+RW discs.
