Piece of piss.
Take out all the possibly common routines into something like;
libgame.c
with defines & function prototypes in;
libgame.h
compile it with:
gcc -fpic -c libgame.c -o libgame.lo
gcc -shared -o libgame.so libgame.lo
And then you can bang libgame.so into /usr/local/lib, run ldconfig to
make sure it's picked up, then;
gcc -o game game.c -l game
and it'll link it all in.
