[ILUG] Linux Half Life CD

[ILUG] Linux Half Life CD

Hello all,

Most of you will recall the message i sent back in october about a Linux
Half-Life CD. Well, you'll be glad to know that i have updated it with
WineX CVS from yesterday night. I got it fully working with both Half
Life/CS and RTCW (rtcw was only to get the install push out the pk3 for
my linux setup ;)

As we got this question quite a lot, i'd like to remind to you that this
CD does not contain the full HL game, you still have to purchase it in a
shop and get the serial number which goes with it. CS and HL patches
didn't change since, so no other change was made to the CD. You can grab
alternatively the archive from my website :
http://frlinux.net/winex_cvs_27032002.tar.bz2

CD contains :

- WineX from 27/03/2002
- Patches for HL 1108 and CounterStrike 1.3 full
- install procedure
- some gl.ext files sometimes required
- server tarballs for hl and cs on linux.

Any request can be sent to freecds at antefacto.com and exchanged against
jam Donuts :)

Steph
