Why would you want to do such a thing? Fetchmail can download from external
pop servers and stick the mail in your local unix mail account. What more
could you want? You could do something weird, like setup a dedicated local
mailserver, get fetchmail to download from the external pop servers, deliver
the mail via smtp to your internal mailserver, and retrieve the mail from
your internal mail server via pop. Now, does that sound like fun?
