While we're criticising Trinity, let's not leave out UCD!
When I suggested to some second year CS classmates that they might try out
Linux, the average responses were along the lines of:
"Why would you do that?"
"Sure Windows is fine..."
"I'll leave that to yourself!"
So out of a class of 50, I know of two who use Linux and perhaps three
more who are interested in finding out about it.
All 50 are doing an Operating Systems course. Then again, the majority of
them would not be what I would consider technically clued in.
But what should we expect from an educational supermarket?
