Since the topic of removing Windows being illegal has drifted so far
off-topic to include PC World, and all the complaints it deserves, I jsut
thought some might be interested to know the (mysterious) bargin I jsut found
there. There currently carry EOM modems for 22 Euro's! These are Intel
Modems, and I have not tried sticking one into my Linux box to see if it
works, but I needed some modems for Windows-owning friends. These claim under
Windows to be Intel HaM modems. Not sure if they are Linux friendly, but this
is 1/3rd the price of any other Windows-only modems I've seen!
They don't seem to have enough on them to be true modems, but they 'might' be
supported win-modems, I'm not sure.
It's amazing where you can find bargins these days.
Cheers,
John Gay
