Maybe they're AMR modems - small card for a small socket, uses AC97. They're
usually around that price
Meanwhile, I got an e-mail from Online IT yesterday with some prices
including
Rockwell 56K Hardware PCI Modem €39.00
I'm assuming this is linux compatible
Also, Maplin's specials catalogue has "V.90 56K Internal Modem" for €25.99
if they're not sold out.
