Quoting Smelly Pooh (plop at redbrick.dcu.ie):

But, in other cases, "old" can equate to "classic". ;-> Over across San
Francisco Bay from me, Marshall Kirk McKusick teaches an evening course at
University of California at Berkeley on the design and implementation of
4.4 BSD -- and I'll be going to out of my way to attend, some time soon,
as it's a unique opportunity.

And I _would_ say that any ostensible class on operating systems that
doesn't try to include some part of that, perhaps based on FreeBSD, is
quite deficient and is doing the students no favour.
