[ILUG] Alternative to M$ ISA server

[ILUG] Alternative to M$ ISA server

QoS is in the latest kernels.... Dunno what smoothwaal thinks of having a
customised kernel, but in any case, it is there..

And as stated below, OpenLdap would do the rest for you. AFAIR you can also
use LDAP to query users from AD.... There is an LDAP port open anyway... Did
this in a former job..

Best Regards
Anders Holm

got me there... linux doesnt have any networking or security
features.

openldap.

i'm sitting in scotland right now, and i've just dealt with a call to
make a change to a firewall in dublin.

in fact, at alphyra, we have an admin team in dublin who manage *nix
computers all over europe. the reason there have to be IT people
locally at european offices is mainly to deal with the "unified
management" windows machines.
