Just a small point...

ISA server does not harden the underlying OS to any appreciable degree : even 
MS recommend the use of a commercial firewall (eg Chckpoint FW-1) outside the 
ISA server. Sorry I don't have any URL's to back this up but google is your 
friend here...

So, if drawing up pros and cons of ISA vs. Linux firewall/squid, be sure to 
include the cost of a seperate firewall box in the ISA solution, esp if it's 
"enterprise level".
