That is an interesting document and an interesting site!
Depending on the number of clients you want to connect you could download
and install their free Bynari Mail Server, which supports SMTP/POP/IMAP/LDAP
with Web Admin and then use their Insight Client so that your M$ Outlook
users can still do Exchange's calendar functions.
Bynari Mail Server only runs on RH7.2, though - so can't just use any old
distro.
