Well, I found a probe utility called vortex-<something> (that's back at work
now) which tells me full duplex is forced, but I have no way of modifying it.
I'll have to install a small DOS partition and run the tool from 3com (which
won't work for me off a boot disk). Something to look forward to on Monday...
