[ILUG] SSH strangeness [me too...]

I've a totally different problem with OpenSSH that someone might be able
to help me with...

Machine seems to hang after I logout and i have to CTRL+C or kill the
SSH app (PuTTY in Windows). Next time I try to log in (using SSH) it
gets as far as the password dialog and then hangs.

Once this situation occurs Telnet and FTP daemons accept connection but
don't allow ask for username / password.

I've seen this happen a few times in the past month and i haven't a clue
what's causing it...

SSH-1.99-OpenSSH_2.9.9p2
Suse Linux on a S390 VM.

Don't have access at present due to the above situation, but should be
able to give some debug info on Monday if needed... On previous
occasions nothing has shown up in the logs (though the VM was
restarted so logs may not have been written)...

Any suggestions welcome. Thanks

Donal
