[ILUG] Konqueror and LOWSRC

[ILUG] Konqueror and LOWSRC

This is a bit off topic, but interesting.

The coolest use of the LOWSRC tag i can think of is
the old Smirnoff Vodka site.

Remember the advertising campaign where things
appeared "differently" when seen through the vodka
bottle? (That would have been around 4 years ago by
now)

Well they used the LOWSRC attribute to load 2 large
jpeg images - one which showed the normal view
which then faded into the umm.. vodka view.
The use of the overlapping images with LOWSRC

Quite a clever use for an aging html attribute that was
becoming obsolete.

G.
