Right so, I'll get me pdf's together then..
On a side note - again - [sorry but I cannot mail to ilug directly]
I'm DD'ing a drive, both are the same capacity [UDMA100 120GB] and it seems
to be running along fine. At least top is says dd is using approx 15% cpu
which sounds about right to me.
The drives are physically on an add in UDMA100/133 controller so are
/dev/hdh & hdg
i.e.: dd if=/dev/hdh of=/dev/hdg
But as I forgot to add the cable for the HDD activity, I dunno if dd is
lying to me or not :)
Can I cat /proc/something to see the progress? I don't know what to cat :(
Any ideas?
