>>> Hey folks,
>> I'd appreciate your help with the following: on examining my tripwire
> logs, I found an unusual entry:
Everyone else has pointed out where to go / what to do from here - but
there are a couple of points I'd like to add
a/ Congrats on having tripwire installed going to the trouble to
monitor it's output
b/ You can no longer trust the box - which means that any systems
that trust it are also suspect
c/ All passwords should be changed immediately, everyone in touch with
the box should be notified
d/ Consider yourself lucky that the person involved didn't notice
tripwire - and didn't mangle the tripwire config to disable it.
