I've read both interface and Cobweb. They're different to his normal
stuff. He still wallows in technical detail every-so-often, but not to
the same extent as his Stephenson books. His uncle's input seems to be in
keeping the plot going at a reasonable pace and a lot of politics.
They're not really directly comparable to his Stephenson books as they're
not the same genre and the writing style is obviously different.
I enjoyed them both.
