3DES is three rounds of DES, the Data Encryption Standard, and therefore is
three rounds of 54(?) bit encryption. Blowfish has a variable length key,
from 32 to 448 bits, so I suppose the key length would have an impact on
speed. Any ideas what key length is used in scp?
