 I'm thinking it's not a config problem (as I've tryed many differnent
configs.

 When printing images, i'm not sure where they are going.

 Printing text files (lp /etc/hosts), when debugging is on, is a little more helpful:

 Couldn't exec foomatic-gswrapper -q -dSAFER -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -sDEVICE=stp  -sModel=pcl-6 -sOutputFile=- - at /usr/lib/cups/filter/cupsomatic line 1018.

 Anyone know what could cause postscript to barf ?
