[ILUG] Suse woes?

Hi Proinnsias,

Whhhaaaaazzzzzuuuuppppp? OK first of all, whats going on?
Q: You have a box with an existing filesystem using ReiserFS yes?
Q: If so, you are doing an upgrade or want to keep /home /usr/local/games
;--) or whatever

I'll go with that as a yes, so you get as far as the end of the install, and
on rebootsky, it bombs out due to lack of initrd [reiserfs] support right?

OK but you can boot SUSE [AFAIR] with diskette number 1 which has module
support for resierfs, mount you root and stuff and compile your kernel, this
time feck initrd and compile statically your scsi and fs requirements.

After all, youre hardly going to rmmod scsi or reiserfs on a system your
working with!

Now I hope I haven't gotten this thread arseways -> our mail server strips
the digest and makes it very hard to follow threads.
