Right Eric im starting from the premise that you have never programmed
before ,so if u havent
listen dont go near eclipse its to hard , its for serious programming im in
second year and we are still
using a jumped up text editor so dont touch Eclipse its for later on , ohh
and for the people who suggested
Eclipse "I just started studying computer science this school year" would
give u a clue that more then likely Eric
is not up to A full on IDE like Eclipse . Hes trying to LEARN how to program
not how to drag and drop!!!!</rant>
Eric use kwrite as someone suggested and download the SDK for suns website
use the command line to compile the programs save ure program as
MyProram.java compile it with the command javac MyProram.java and then run
it with java MyProram , kwite or ANY text editor will do the SDK will have
the binary java and javac so u need that.I suggest an easy text editor not
emacs ;-) , anyway you may know all this already or u may not if your still
counfused e-mail me!
Sorry everyone for the lenght =)
