[ILUG] I broke my ethernet bridge :)

[ILUG] I broke my ethernet bridge :)

Hello guys,
I recently built a brand new server.Killed my old machine
 and started over.
However my new server is being quite irritable when i tried
 reinstalling my adsl setup.

It's quite embarrasing considering I wrote the tutorial but my ethernet
 bridge wont work :)

All other necessery packages are configured and working.
I "seem" to have all necesseray items correct in my kernel.

However when i try to create my ethernet bridge i get this:

RFC1483/2684 bridge: Interface "nas0" created sucessfully
RFC1483/2684 bridge: Communicating over ATM 0.8.35, encapsulation: LLC
RFC1483/2684 bridge: Fatal: failed to connect on socket

The error is all over the net without solutions.

I think it's either something astray in the underlying atm packages
or something misconfigured in the kernel.

So would anyone know what might cause this?
Im of the opinion im missing something tiny and will bang my head off
a wall repeatadly when told what it is :)
I also have a strong feeling i fixed the same error the last time :)

Once i get the bridge working im back online so its irritating me :)

Thanks dudes
  Declan
