Dunno if this helps .. what I do is force the ide-scsi module to load from
/etc/rc.d/boot.local with
/sbin/modprobe ide-scsi
/sbin/modprobe aha152x
or is this what you are trying to avoid? otherwise I couldn't figure it either
- perhaps ide-scsi is not an auto-loadable module - is this possible?
