The Register had a story a few weeks ago about a legal secretary in the US
who stole money from her employers to "invest" in one of these scams. A few
MILLION dollars I believe!
She obviously thought she could put the money back when she got her 20% of
Abacha's stash. Makes you wonder when a law firm lets itself be defrauded
by someone who isn't the full shilling herself...
Anyway, I think she got a few years in jail for her efforts.
