hey,

I'm getting :-| as the rip smiley so cdparanoia is getting the jitters
maybe? also if I disable cdparanoia and extra paranoia I get upto 2.8
for ripping to .wav this is still painfully slow compared to the windows
ones though.

What kind of speed can one expect from this ?
