I use the veritas suite here - and it works great in mixed windows/linux
environments - but does require a bit of planning getting it up and
running. I use amanda with smbmount at home for backups although my
backups at home are a bit simpler (full backup every night, no
incrementals, hardly ever have to do a restore).
