[ILUG] Upgrading to SuSE 8.1

[ILUG] Upgrading to SuSE 8.1

Hi,

I've downloaded the ftp version of SuSE 8.1 from a SuSE mirror.
It comes with 4 boot floppy disk images and a cd boot image.

When I boot from either and try in install SuSE 8.1 I only get options
to do a new install of SuSE and to boot the installed system.

I'm can't seem to upgrade my existing SuSE 7.3 to SuSE 8.1.
SuSE 8.0 came with an upgrade option.

Has anyone else seen this?

Could it be something to do with my hard disk layout? -
hda1 - 40Meg ext2 partition for /boot
hda2 - 600Meg swap partition
hda3 - 3.3Gig resiserfs partition for /

Conor
