[ILUG] possibly a silly idea...

[ILUG] possibly a silly idea...

Hi All,
As a relative newcomer, I'd say the ILUG isn't that difficult to find.
I was looking around for what Linux resources are available and came
across it easily.

A bumper sticker will have a load of people wondering "WTF is ILUG" (and
generally most people who come by will then say "WTF is Linux" anyway).
A bumper sticker will reach many people, very few of which will be the
targeted audience.

I don't know how much work anyone has put in to ensuring that it hits
well on search engines, etc. but I think this would be a better use of
time (& also liking from other Linux specific sites).

Cheers,
Dermot.

Provide patches to each of the big distributions to add a link to
http://www.linux.org/groups/ to their default browser start page or
their welcome screens.

Later,
Kenn
