i'm sending this to the list to prevent pointless replies. and this is
not to single dermot out - he's new here and probably hasn't seen this
before - i've noticed a habit *many* people here have of engaging in
this flow of conversation:
1. someone suggests a project.
2. several people suggest "improvements" that aren't feasible
or related.
3. long discussion.
4. nothing at all happens.
i'm not playing that game. if i get enough interest i'll research getting
them printed and i'll toss up designs and solicit designs. if people
would like to do their own thing (i think kenn's idea of patches was good)
to let people know about ilug then i really hope they will.
so people should feel free to do step 2 above, it's just that people who
are interested in what i suggested should know that i'll be ignoring most
of those (bar suggestions about design or where to get them printed).
so if you *are* interested and think this is another 1, 2, 3, 4 thing
as above, it isn't, and you won't be wasting your time by expressing
interest.
lastly, yes they will cost money. i am not santa claus. suggestions on
how to minimise that cost are welcome. i would hope to heve them cost
less then one euro each.
