Hmmm.. yes, I remember the last time i looked into this i had tried
gthumb but settled on vphotoalb for some reason. gthumb seems to have
advanced quite a bit though, must try it again. thanks!
PS: still interested in hearing about web based apps (eg to allow
people to add comments/captions who dont have access to the local
filesystem (as i guess would be required with gthumb)).
