[ILUG] CVS reverse lookup failure

[ILUG] CVS reverse lookup failure

Chaps.

Many thanks for the replies.

On advice from the great cake, I tried having a bash at cvsd and it's
chroot jails.

cvs-buildroot /cvsroot
chown -R cvsd:cvsd /cvsroot
cvs -d /cvsroot/cvsrep init
chmod 777 /cvsroot/tmp

cvsd-passwd beths
adding beths to /cvsroot/cvsrep/CVSROOT/writers

Running cvsd as root to allow setgid to work, seems to magic away cvs'
desire to do a reverse lookup on the ip address connecting, which is cool.

And I didn't even have to associate with the communists to get it done!!
