The 9000 series are a different kettle of poisson.
There are closed drivers from ATI aswell. are you using them? I'd be
interested to know how they perform.
Ah I just checked out the site, and they dont provide mobility drivers. But I
reckon the 9000 desktop series would be the same anyway. Worth a go.

They are all pretty much the same in 2D. Unless you are into graphic design,
but then you have a Mac right :)
