Hi,
if you are in Ireland, have DSL, and got an adapter supplied to you from
your dsl provider, could you please email me with simply the make and
model of the adapter and the supplier you recieved it from?
Hopefully lots of you will answer so I can build a complete picture of
the devices supplied in Ireland (and hence that a distribution currently
needs to support) and I will post the results back to the list. The
plan is to have as many of these as possible supported under a Knoppix
like system for Expo, but first we need a list of whats out there (where
people have bought there own devices I can only hope the underlying
system supports it, but if a supplier has been dishing out something
that isn't supported but could be, I will try and add support).
Please simply reply to this email, delete the contents and type in the
make, model and supplier for your device (who should be/have been your
dsl provider). Don't make it hard work for me, delete everything and
type in those details. Leave the subject line intact (Re is fine).
Don't expect a personal reply :-) I hope to have far too many for that!
Thanks,
Niall Walsh
