ah, I didn't know that gaim ran on win32.
Somewhere on my todo list, is a plan to make a CD with all the really
good Free Software that's available for win32 - the sort of thing that
could be given to folk at trade shows etc.
I'm only considering mainstream, rock-solid software[0] - good
ambassadors such as OpenOffice & Mozilla (& now gaim). From past
experience, most win32 people have a hard time believing that Free
Software could exist, they assume there's a catch. So if anyone else
has packages to suggest, drop me a mail. thanks.
[0] last time I checked, gimp for win32 crashed a lot. Blender is
another candidate, but it's not very mainstream.
