It's Sourceforge's policy. There's a lot to be said for it, as it allows
them to push urgent updates and run the show on a timetable convenient to
them. We're also an unusual case in that (by my understanding) we're the
only sf.net mirror that provides our own hardware; the others run off
Sourceforge-supplied boxes.
