I was sure I asked this before, but would it not be possible to add an
extra X- header to an ILUG mail which has had an attachment stripped
e.g.

X-ILUG-ATTACHMENT-STRIPPED

which people could then handle as they wanted. Personally, I'd be giving
it an SA score of +10. Is this possible with the current mailman
attachment stripping setup?
