newbie announcement:

    groklaw has a spinoff.  no, no, not "joey!"  it's grokdoc.  it's a
    free software documentation project driven by YOU!  instead of those
    geeks writing more of those crappy docs that only they understand,
    YOU will write docs that will be MUCH better and maybe show those
    literacy-challenged geeks how to write docs in the first place.

geek announcement:

    groklaw is forking!  the child process will use a wiki to build docs
    driven by newbies.  this will lead to yet another way to respond to
    newbie questions: WTFM!  yeay!  maybe they'll finally leave us
    alone.
