security of an underlying operating system for running an arbitrary
service is more a function of how easily you may keep it up-to-date and
locked down. Something which in turn is a function of your own experience
and the tools available to you. Assuming a blank-slate with all
Operating Systems, probably no less secure than anything else. More
important is the choice of DNS server.
Is this in comparison to running a DNS server on Linux? I only ask
because this is a Linux user group!
