>>Sony VAIO PCG-K115S
I have a Sony Vaio PCG-FX602 running windows and have had the following
hardware 'issues'
Cheap plastic case has cracked
Internal winmodem due to a design flaw is incapable of achieving any
speed above 46kps
Battery life is terrible (it is using a desktop processor)
Intermittent hardware problems when booting, requiring the battery to
be removed to kill the machine before rebooting.
Sometimes refusing the bios password and powering down when it does it.
Now it is an old laptop well over a year old and maybe they have sorted
all these things in their current products but I'm glad my company
bought it and not me. Having used it I'd never buy or recommend sony
for laptops.
