With VMware theres no rebooting to use different OSes. You can use as many
as you want on the same machine at the same time, all communicating with
each other. Thats its big advantage in my eyes.
You don't need a huge processor or a massive amount of RAM to use it,
but the more you have of each the smoother the experience is. I've had
Win95, Win98, and Mandrake 9.x all running at the same time on a w2k box -
Athlon XP 1800+ with 256 Mb RAM.
