And you wanna install Linux on it ? WTF !!!! Dude there are a lot of 
Internet cafes ....

They should be sniffing the fields of lavender and quaffing fresh 
espresso instead of
having their heads wrecked by crap windoze software and burocracy.

Anyhow unless the connection is needed for porn viewing or other illicit 
purposes
an Internet cafe will have a way faster connection than shitty old 
diallup. 

Your boss must be treating you far too well if you feel the need to give
yourself this kinda grief !!!!!  =-O

Oh yeah FYI a phone line will take about 4 weeks to get installed in 
France,
if you are lucky .... it is not a place to get things done within 
timeframes.
