Have you created /etc/samba/smbpasswd
cat /etc/passwd | mksmbpasswd.sh > /etc/samba/smbpasswd
then remobe the users you don't want to have SMB acccess.
then smbpasswd user-name to set the users SMB passwords
smbclient -L localhost -W windows-domain-name -U user-name
