[ILUG] Resignation of ILUG PRO Postition

[ILUG] Resignation of ILUG PRO Postition

AJ McKee amk at eirteic.com
Fri Apr 23 13:38:36 IST 2004

Dear All,

For the purposes of complying with article 7.2 of the ILUG constitution I
have copied the sectary and the committee on this email.

I herby declare that I give notice to all concerned parties of my intention
to resign my duties as PRO of the Irish Linux Users Group effective from
this moment forward. I will of course remain on in the position for the time
period stipulated in article 7.2 or until the Committee can meet to
co-opt/elect another member to the position.

It is with great regret that I part this position as it has been a long time
ambition of mine to represent the Irish Linux Users Group in Ireland.
However I feel that I can no longer continue to work with the chair in a
manner that would be productive to the ILUG.

While I will remain a member of ILUG, I also herby announce my involvement
(with others) with the establishment of a Business Linux Users Group both
globally and on the island of Ireland.

I thank those of you who supported me during my time as PRO and I wish the
best of luck to my successor.

Yours,

AJ McKee
Proud Member of ILUG! Are You?
