[ILUG] db2 databsae backup question..

Declan Boylan decob at redbrick.dcu.ie

Presently trying to restore my db from a nightly backup...

the restore script i have opens each of the backup tar files and then
runs the following command to import the data...

db2 "import from data.ixf of ixf modified by lobsinfile insert into data"

now every time that is run, it comes up with the following errors

SQL3150N The H record in the PC/IXF file has product "DB2 02.00",
date "20040429", and time "000502".

SQL3153N The T record in the PC/IXF file has name "data.ixf", qualifier
"", and source " ".

SQL3109N The utility is beginning to load data from file "data.ixf".

SQL3148W A row from the input file was not inserted into the table.
SQLCODE "-803" was returned.

SQL0803N One or more values in the INSERT statement, UPDATE statement,
or foreign key update caused by a DELETE statement are not valid because
the primary key, unique constraint or unique index identified by "1"
constrains table "DB2.DATA" from having duplicate rows for those
columns. SQLSTATE=23505

SQL3185W The previous error occurred while processing data from row "1"
of the input file.

any ideas of what i'm doing wrong, or whats wrong... as i'm not very
familiar with db2..

cheers
