I've been on to Eircom for the last 2 months. Ringing them every second
day about getting Broadband.
Got them to put in a new line (29/3). Failed. Waited for a couple of
weeks for the Database to be updated. Failed.
Last week, I was passed up to a guy, who told me that I wouldn't be
able to get BB now, and that Eircom will not be doing any work in my
area. He asked would I like to notified when BB came available to my
home. Sure. I said. Time to look for wireless.
Today, while chatting to Martin off-list about his BB woes, I decided
to recheck my line on the Eircom website. It passed. Some mistake I
thought. I rang Eircom sales. "That line has passed sir, would you like
to order ? " eh.. I was at loss.
So much in competence in so many areas. Off to look at my new options.
