He was more than likely confused and trying to link the ICTE to the
anti-globalistation movement. As we all know, Meaigs, Colm and co. are nothing
more than a front for the SWP... ;)
Somebody did hear that somebody in the Dept. of Justice linked the ICTE to the
anti-globalisation movement, however that and the "troublemakers" comment that
came out in a meet-the-press-off-the-record briefing were more than likely just
attempts at a bit of spin by the Dept. of Env. - No offence was meant, I'm
sure, just day-to-day inaccuracies spat out in an attempt to discredit
individuals who happen to oppose Government policy. Par for the course.
There isn't anybody involved there involved in anything related to the
anti-globalisation movement.
